Terms of Use
1. Nature of the application
Ronnie Relay is a personal meeting assistant that joins meetings the Owner attends to record audio, transcribe, and generate notes for the Owner. There is no sign-up, no third-party accounts, and no service is provided to anyone other than the Owner.
2. Acceptable use
- The application is used only to attend meetings that the Owner is legitimately part of.
- The application will not be used to join meetings covertly or to record people without the notice/consent required by applicable law and by the meeting platform's terms.
- The application is operated in compliance with the Zoom Terms of Service, Zoom's API/SDK license terms, and the Zoom Acceptable Use Guidelines.
3. Recording and consent
The Owner is solely responsible for ensuring that recording and note-taking in any given meeting complies with the laws of the relevant jurisdictions and the policies of the meeting host. The assistant joins as a clearly identified participant so its presence is visible. If a host or participant objects, the Owner will stop recording and/or remove the assistant.
4. Third-party platforms
Use of Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams is subject to those providers' own terms. Ronnie Relay is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Zoom, Google, or Microsoft. "Zoom" is a trademark of Zoom Video Communications, Inc.
5. No warranty
The application is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Transcripts and AI-generated summaries may contain errors and should not be relied upon as a verbatim or authoritative record.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the application.
7. Intellectual property
The Ronnie Relay name and logo belong to the Operator. The application is built on the open-source Vexa project, used under its license.
8. Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time; the current version is posted on this page.
